## What the assistant can help with
The assistant answers questions about **using the tools**—navigation, what a chart or metric means, how planning tools work—and explains general financial concepts like Roth conversions, IRMAA, or sequence-of-returns risk. Answers are grounded in Analyzer's product documentation, and responses cite the help articles they came from.
## What the assistant will not do
The assistant is **educational, not a licensed advisor**. It will not recommend buying, selling, or holding any specific stock, ETF, bond, or other security, and it will not give personalized tax, legal, or investment advice.
## How the assistant uses your data
The assistant may use an **aggregated household snapshot**—net worth totals, account counts by type, and plan basics like target retirement age—to make answers relevant to your situation. It never sees full account numbers or credentials. Conversations are logged for quality and safety auditing.
## When the assistant can't answer
If a question falls outside the product documentation, the assistant says so rather than guessing. Try rephrasing with product terms (for example, "Monte Carlo success probability" instead of "my odds"), or browse the Help center for guided explanations.
